Arjun Bijlani Defends ‘Naagin’: “It Was Fiction Like Spider-Man, Not Regressive”
Arjun Bijlani On Naagin Show: TV actor Arjun Bijlani has recently responded to those criticizing the 'Naagin' show. Know what the actor said.
The 'Naagin' show has been running on TV since 2015. As we know, Ekta Kapoor's show was also well-liked. However, due to not showing the real story in this show, it also faced criticism. Now on this matter, actor Arjun Bijlani, who is seen in the lead role in the show, has defended the show.
Arjun Bijlani recently attended an interview with Siddharth Kannan, where he talked about the Naagin TV show. Talking about the popularity of the show, he said, 'It was very popular not only in small towns but also in Mumbai. When the TRP of other shows was 2, it got 6 TRP. Actually, it ended at 5 TRP only. It was even bigger than my previous show "Mile Jab Hum Tum". After 'Naagin', Zindagi had a different story. I think season 1 was the best.'
Speaking further, Arjun Bijlani also reacted to those who criticized the show. He said, 'Regressive is when you show all these things in a realistic story. Naagin was showcased as a fictional narrative. What is Spider-Man? Is it real? Is Naagin real? It is not real. So, where was the criticism? The whole world was watching it, the TRP proved that. It was criticized only by those who were sitting at home without any work. No one in this world is not criticized, be it Virat Kohli, Shah Rukh Khan or Salman Khan. But who cares? You have to do your work and keep moving forward.'
Arjun Bijlani is preparing for his new reality game show 'Rise and Fall'. Hosted by Ashneer Grover, the show features 12 contestants including Dhanashree Verma, Kiku Sharda, Kubbra Sait and Nayandeep Rakshit. It will premiere on Amazon MX Player on September 6.
