Assam CM Opens Stadium for Fans to Pay Last Respects to Zubeen Garg
Zubeen Garg: A flood of fans had gathered to pay their last respects to singer Zubeen Garg. Now, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has informed through a social media post that fans will be able to pay their respects to Zubeen on Monday as well. His funeral is expected to take place two days later.

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma posted an emotional post on his Twitter account. He wrote, "More and more people wish to see our beloved Zubeen one last time, and we deeply understand these sentiments. Therefore, Bhogeswar Baruah Stadium will remain open throughout the night today for the public to pay their respects to Zubeen. Tomorrow also, the mortal remains of Zubeen will be kept at Sarusajai for people to offer their homage."
Himanta Biswa Sarma made another post and shared some photos. In it, the Assam CM writes, "Tributes continue to pour for Assam's rockstar, Zubeen Garg. This love and affection is what he earned over the years and will always be his legacy!"
According to PTI, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday inspected the proposed funeral site for singer Zubeen Garg in Sonapur, on the outskirts of Guwahati. He had previously said the site would be finalized by the evening after consultation with Garg's family.
