Currently, Actor Ranbir Kapoor is making headlines for his much-awaited upcoming film, "Ramayana." "Ramayana" is said to be one of the most expensive films in Indian cinema. Ranbir will be seen playing Lord Rama in the film. Regarding the film, Ranbir has spoken about how deeply working on it impacted him personally and emotionally. He revealed that the project not only changed his outlook on life but also helped him become a better father to his daughter, Rhea Kapoor.

During an interview with Top Magazine, Ranbir Kapoor talked about playing the role of Lord Rama. He admitted that he initially had doubts about whether he would be able to do justice to such an iconic character. He questioned himself whether he was capable of playing the role, but over time, his fear turned into a love for the project.

He said, "I realized that this wouldn't be a decisive step for my career, but it was definitely going to change my life. It brought me closer to understanding the Ramayana, to understanding Lord Rama's journey. I think it brought many positive changes in my life.

My bad habits changed, my values changed, my perspective on life changed, my perspective on loss changed, my perspective on sacrifice changed, my perspective on religion changed, and I think I needed that very much in my life."

The actor further explained how becoming a father and working on the Ramayana coincided in his life, making the experience even more meaningful. Ranbir said, "It was a lovely coincidence in my life."

Raha made me a better person, and Ramayan wanted me to be a better person for Raha, so everything connected. I was in the right place at the right time when such a big film based on our truth, our culture, our history was being made in the most authentic way. It was a blessing, and I will be grateful for it all my life.

Ranbir and Alia Bhatt welcomed their daughter Raha in 2022. Since then, Raha has been frequently seen with the couple at airports. However, the couple later appealed to fans and paparazzi not to reveal Raha's face.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, "Ramayana" stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman. The film will be made in two parts. The first part will release this Diwali, while the second part will release next Diwali, 2027.
