Actress Twisha Sharma's co-star, Shweta Verma, reacted to her sudden death, saying she is still in shock. 33-year-old Twisha Sharma was found dead on May 12 at the home of her husband, lawyer Samarth Singh, in Bhopal's Katara Hills area. Actress Shweta, who worked with Twisha, remembered her as a very friendly person. Sharing a social media post, she said that this case will be investigated properly and the truth will come out.
"I am still in shock to hear the news that she is no longer in this world, especially just six months after our marriage. I had the opportunity to work with her in the film 'Mugguru Monagallu'. Although we spoke very little, we had some fun conversations and a lot of laughs." She further said, "She had so much positive energy that she never seemed like the kind of person who would take such a step. I sincerely hope that this case will be investigated properly, the truth will come out, and justice will be served."
Twisha Sharma, a resident of Noida, married Samarth Singh from Bhopal in December 2025. Her family has accused her in-laws of mental torture and dowry harassment. The police have registered a case and formed an SIT to investigate the matter. Before entering the corporate world, she appeared in the Telugu film "Mugguru Monagallu" (2021) and the Hindi film "Zara Sambhal Ke" (2018). During her modeling days, she also won the title of "Miss Pune."
