Sohail Khan Makes Reality Show Debut with 'Alliance', Opens Up About Stepping Out of Salman Khan's Shadow

Sohail Khan is set to make his appearance on the TV reality show "Alliance" as a wild card entry. While he has judged various reality shows in the past, he hasn’t participated in one yet. While speaking on the occasion, Sohail was clear about the fact that being the brother of Salman Khan would not come in handy for him this time around.

Hosted by Kunal Khemu, there have been quite a few stars who participated in this show. Before entering the show, Sohail had revealed that he would like to forge his own identity and create an image of his own, distinct from that of being Salman Khan’s brother. This piece of information about Sohail joining "Alliance" came a few days back.

Sohail Khan has worked in films as a director and actor. However, he hasn't gained much recognition as an actor. Even today, when introducing himself, people call him "Salman Khan's brother." Recently, before joining "Alliance," Sohail spoke with the media and discussed his plans for the show, as well as his identity. According to HT, Sohail says he wants to change his image as Salman Khan's brother through the show.

Sohail Khan says, "There's no family name on the show to rely on. There's no pressure from the industry. It's just me. It's my mind and how I play the game. That's it. If people see a side of me they've never seen before, it would be great. That's the only reason I came on this show." Sohail Khan also discussed the difference between "Alliance" and "Bigg Boss." He said, "Bigg Boss" is very energetic and full of emotional drama. "I always thought it was Salman Bhai's space, not mine. The show "Alliance" is completely different. It's a mind game. It involves strategy. You have to defeat people quietly without them knowing. That's the challenge I enjoyed."

Sohail also discussed Salman Khan's reaction to his appearance on the show. When Sohail first told Salman Khan about being a part of a reality show, his reaction was completely different. According to Sohail, "Salman Bhai found it very interesting. Then suddenly he said, 'Are you sure why you're getting into this?'" Sohail further added, "From what I know of Bhai, whatever he said was both a warning and a blessing. I accept it." "Alliance" is streaming on the OTT platform Prime Video.
