There have been numerous movies in which Abhishek Bachchan has acted, and hence he is popularly known for his acting skills. However, on one occasion, he was referred to using the name of a character. This took place at the traffic light signal.
In a recent conversation with India Today, Abhishek Bachchan said, "A few days ago, I was stopped at a traffic signal. Someone called me 'Shambhu Raje.' This had never happened to me before. This shows how much this character means to people." In such a situation, the responsibility on us to do complete justice to these characters increases further.
It should be noted that in the recently released film "Raja Shivaji," Abhishek Bachchan played the role of Shambhu Raje. This was the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's elder brother.
Abhishek Bachchan also shared information about his character in the interview. He said, "I had no idea that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj had an elder brother. They had a deep relationship. The film depicts the politics, mutual conflicts, and characters of that era very well. When I learned about them, I found it very interesting."
Riteish Deshmukh plays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the film. He also directed the film. Abhishek considers Ritesh to be his younger brother. Ritesh was the one who offered Abhishek the role of Shambhu Raje.
After doing the film "Raja Shivaji," Abhishek Bachchan is working on a film with Shah Rukh Khan. The film is titled "King." It will be released this Christmas. Shah Rukh Khan's daughter, Suhana Khan, and actress Deepika Padukone will also be seen in the film.
