Ketan Agarwal of age 26, who belonged to Pune, died suddenly, shocking everyone and going viral on social media very fast. Initially, it was reported that his death occurred by accident because he had fallen while trekking on Lohagad Fort on June 18. However, it is now being investigated as a murder case.
According to news reports, the fiancée of Ketan, named Siya Goyal, along with her partner Chetan Chaudhary, are charged with the preplanned murder.
Amidst this, Kangana Ranaut shared her views via an Instagram story. She stated that, in today's times, parents cannot be held responsible for their children's actions. She further noted that social media, artificial intelligence, and one's surroundings significantly influence a person's mindset and behavior.
Sharing a statement made by Siya Goyal's father, Kangana wrote, "Nowadays, one cannot judge a child's upbringing or values simply by looking at their family or parents.
The real issue lies in who is influencing them, whom they spend time with, and who impacts them—whether on social media or in real life. People today lead multifaceted lives and maintain distinct public personas. Therefore, families cannot be judged based on their children's actions."
Meanwhile, Siya Goyal's parents have also responded to the matter. Her mother revealed that before finalizing the marriage, she had asked Siya multiple times if she liked Ketan and was ready for the wedding.
Siya had answered in the affirmative every time. However, Sia's parents also stated that if she is found guilty, she must be punished, and there should be no delay in justice.
