'Maa Behan' Actress Dharna Durga Opens Up on Learning Film Acting From Madhuri Dixit and Tripti Dimri

Digital actress turned film actor Dharna Durga acted in a Netflix film titled "Maa Behan." The actress is joined on screen by Tripti Dimri and Madhuri Dixit. Acting in a full-fledged movie is a milestone for Dharna, but she feels that her co-actors have made it a learning experience for her.

Speaking to E-Times, Dharna Durga said about her experience, "I'm still trying to understand the nuances of film acting. Every day on set, I was learning something new. But I believe that honesty is at the core of any art." And honestly, that's been my guide from Instagram to the big screen.

Describing the rewarding experience of sharing scenes with Madhuri Dixit and Tripti Dimri, the actress said she observed every nuance of their performances. Observing experienced actors closely helped her better understand the rhythm, timing, and dynamics of a scene. Speaking about her co-stars, Dharna said, "I think they've helped me a lot in paving my own path."

The actress further added, "I believe any actor always relies on their co-actors to understand the nuances and perfect every scene. When you're in the same frame with Madhuri Ma'am and Tripti, it feels like you're in film school on set."

Every day, I learned something new; their way of working inspired me to do better. Especially when it comes to comedy, it's crucial to get every beat and timing right; I think that's what I learned from them both.

Despite being the newest member of the main cast, Dharna says she never felt nervous because her co-actors maintained an encouraging atmosphere throughout the shoot. She added, "I think the biggest hallmark of generous and friendly actors is that they always put the story and direction of the scene first."

So, when all three of us agreed on this, I think it became much easier to get into the swing of things. To be honest, they have very big hearts and are very generous. Despite having much more experience than me, I never felt like they didn't consider me their equal; I'm very grateful for that, as it took a lot of pressure off me.
