Deepika Padukone Calls Daughter Dua Her “Biggest Passion,” Shares Cute Motherhood Moments

Deepika Padukone is often in the news for her daughter, Dua Padukone. She spoke recently about raising her child and her love for her. She also shared how she lives her life as a mother.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, Deepika Padukone said, "My passion is my daughter (Dua)." The actress shared some funny stories about life with her little girl. She explained, "The strangest thing in my bag was a piece of thepla that she (Dua) was eating. I found it two days later."

Deepika also spoke about the small joys of motherhood, saying, "The good thing is that I say 'I love you' to my baby girl (Dua) a lot." She also shared how she jokingly sings songs like "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" with her daughter. Such conversations make their relationship even more special.

Deepika Padukone demanded an eight-hour workday last year. She made this demand after becoming a mother. In an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, she said that new mothers need support to return to work. This is why she made this decision. Deepika said that we have considered overwork normal. We mistake fatigue for commitment. Working eight hours a day is enough for a person's body and mind.

Remember, Deepika Padukone married Ranveer Singh in November 2018. They welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, in 2024. Ranveer Singh and Deepika had revealed their daughter's face on the occasion of Diwali last year.
