At the age of 71, the famous Bollywood actor Anupam Kher continues to be very busy with films and social networking. He continues signing films and winning accolades. In one of the recent events, Anupam Kher bagged the award for the Best Supporting Actor at the UK Asian Film Festival for his Indo-Canadian film "Calories." Asked how he will celebrate, Anupam highlighted how the culture of partying in the film industry has undergone a change. People no longer party or celebrate for fear of social media trolling.
Speaking about the celebratory culture in Bollywood, Anupam Kher expressed his disappointment. He said, "I was just talking to Anil Kapoor about how people have stopped celebrating life and their victories because they feel they'll be criticized."
The directors like Yash Chopra or Subhash Ghai used to host these big parties in Bollywood, but not anymore. People are now scared to celebrate, feeling someone will find a fault and that fear is valid. We live in these times, and we have to adapt to them, but sometimes it hurts.
On the work front, Anupam Kher is currently shooting for his upcoming film, "Khosla Ka Ghosla 2." This is the sequel to his successful 2006 film. The film will once again feature Boman Irani and Ranvir Shorey in lead roles. He also recently released the poster for his upcoming film, "Flicker."
