Bhagyashree Dances to Lata Mangeshkar’s Classic Song
Actress Bhagyashree shares a graceful dance video set to Lata Mangeshkar’s evergreen track ‘Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein,’ evoking 1990s nostalgia.
Mumbai: Actress Bhagyashree has shared a video of herself dancing to Lata Mangeshkar’s classic song “Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein,” revisiting the charm of the evergreen melody.
In the clip, the Maine Pyar Kiya actress performs graceful moves while the song plays. She appears in a stylish Anarkali suit paired with matching jewellery. Accompanying the video, she wrote: “#myfavsongsbyb Do you remember when love had a different language? A little shy, a little hesitant, a little longing, a little anticipation..... when words were fewer and a look said it all. Have you ever felt love like that? #musicforever #1900s.”
Bhagyashree frequently posts videos in which she recreates or performs to classic songs, reflecting her continued affinity for older melodies. The latest post aligns with that pattern, blending personal expression with nostalgia for a quieter, more restrained portrayal of romance associated with an earlier era of Hindi film music.
A few days earlier, she had shared photographs from a weekend trip to Udaipur with her husband, Himalaya Dassani. Captioning the images “Wild, wild west! What a weekend... Witty’s birthday celebration!,” she offered a brief glimpse into the family outing.
Bhagyashree married Himalaya Dassani in 1989. The couple have two children—son Abhimanyu Dassani, who made his Bollywood debut with the 2019 film Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota, and daughter Avantika Dassani, who debuted with the web series Mithya.
On the professional front, Bhagyashree was last seen in the 2023 thriller Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video. She also made a special appearance in the comedy-drama series Life Hill Gayi.
By returning to a well-known Lata Mangeshkar composition, the actress continues to engage her audience through music and personal reflection. The video serves as both a performance and a nostalgic reminder of the emotional language that defined many songs of that period.
