Maatrubhumi Update: VFX Underway, But Censor Board Clearance Still Pending
Maatrubhoomi Update: A major update has emerged regarding Salman Khan's upcoming film, "Matrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace." This update concerns its release date.

Excitement continues to build around Salman Khan's upcoming war drama, "Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace," ever since the film's title announcement and subsequent motion poster reveal. The latest update suggests the project is now inching closer to completion, though a few key steps remain before it can be locked for theatrical release.
Where Things Stand: VFX Work and Pending Certification
According to media reports, the film is largely ready, with VFX work currently the primary task still underway. Once this final technical phase is complete, the film will need to pass through several review stages, including certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)-a step that, as of now, has not yet taken place. The makers have indicated that an official release date will only be announced once all relevant departments have completed their review of the film.
Addressing Past Speculation
This update also arrives against the backdrop of earlier controversy surrounding the film's certification process. In early July, reports had circulated suggesting that the CBFC had withheld approval for the film, fueling speculation about potential delays. However, Salman Khan Films swiftly moved to dismiss these claims, issuing an official statement calling the reports "entirely baseless" and clarifying that the film had not even been formally submitted to the CBFC at that stage. The production house urged media outlets and the public to rely only on official updates shared through its verified channels.
