Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda turned into a cheerleader in the most public and heartfelt way on Tuesday, sharing a beautifully personal message for his wife Rashmika Mandanna after the makers of her highly anticipated action drama 'Mysaa' officially announced its worldwide release date. For a film that has already carried significant emotional weight for the couple — including a serious injury Rashmika sustained during filming — the message added yet another layer of warmth to what is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated releases of late 2026.
For fans following the couple's journey, the moment was both simple and sweet — exactly the kind of small, spontaneous celebrity moment that lands with genuine emotion.
The Message That Set the Tone
Sharing the film's official announcement poster on his Instagram Stories, Vijay Deverakonda wrote a beautifully personal cheer for Rashmika.
"Violent pilla May the gods be with you :) You will make all your dearest fans proud again with this one," he wrote, using the affectionate 'Violent pilla' tag that has long been a fan-loved nickname for Rashmika, accompanied by a red heart emoji.
That kind of warm, unfiltered public message from a spouse ahead of a major film release is exactly the kind of moment fans of both stars have come to cherish. It's celebratory. It's proud. And it beautifully captures the personal support system Rashmika has right by her side heading into one of her most physically demanding projects.
The 'Mysaa' Release Date
Producers Unformula Films confirmed on Tuesday that 'Mysaa' would reach cinema halls across the globe on November 27, 2026.
Sharing the announcement on their official social media, the makers wrote: "Resilient by nature. Fearless by choice. Unbreakable by spirit. Get ready to experience the world of #MYSAA with #RashmikaMandanna like never before. IN CINEMAS WORLDWIDE ON 27.11.26."
That three-part framing — resilient, fearless, unbreakable — captures exactly the tonal universe the film is designed to inhabit. And Rashmika, at the centre of it, is set to bring all three qualities to life.
The Injury That Made the Journey Even More Meaningful
Vijay's message carries added emotional weight given the physical challenges Rashmika has navigated during the making of 'Mysaa'. The actress had suffered a serious hip tendon injury while shooting for the film — an unfortunate accident that took place during a high-energy dance sequence.
According to reports, one of the four tendons in her right hip was detached — a significant injury that required focused medical care and a patient recovery period.
For any actor, a physical injury during filming is a genuinely difficult phase. It disrupts shoot schedules, requires disciplined healing and often carries emotional weight beyond the physical. Rashmika's ability to recover and now approach the film's release with warmth and gratitude reflects both her personal resilience and the support system that has clearly been holding her through the recovery.
Rashmika's Return to Work
After recovering at home for some time, Rashmika announced on Sunday that she would be getting back to work shortly. The 'Animal' actress posted a few glimpses from her recovery time with her loved ones — including offering prayers, watching movies, solving puzzles and spending time with her pets.
"I am getting back to work soon and I am definitely going to miss all of this!" the 'Pushpa' actress wrote on the photo-sharing app.
That post did something valuable. It gave fans a genuine window into how she had been spending her time healing — reminding audiences that even in intense phases of physical recovery, there is space for small, meaningful joys.
'Ranabaali': A Special Upcoming Collaboration
Alongside 'Mysaa', Rashmika also has another exciting project on her plate — the forthcoming period drama 'Ranabaali', in which she will share screen space with Vijay Deverakonda.
This is their first project as a married couple. Before this, Rashmika and Vijay were seen together in the movies 'Geetha Govindam' and 'Dear Comrade', making 'Ranabaali' their third professional collaboration overall.
For fans who have followed the couple since 'Geetha Govindam' — where their chemistry first captured widespread attention — seeing them share the screen again, this time as a real-life married couple, will be an especially warm and full-circle moment.
The 'Mysaa' Character
In 'Mysaa', Rashmika plays a tribal Gond girl — a character that demands both emotional vulnerability and physical ferocity. The film has been directed by Rawindra Pulle and features an ensemble cast including Eshwari Rao, Guru Somasundaram and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles.
Rashmika reportedly trained intensively for the physical demands of the role, including at a specialised stunt and combat bootcamp in Bangkok, Thailand — training for over eight hours a day for weeks. That kind of preparation reflects the seriousness with which she approached the role, and it also gives context to why an injury during filming would have been such a significant setback.
The Technical Team
'Mysaa' has been assembled with a strong technical team. Cinematography is by Shreyaas P Krishna. Music is by Jakes Bejoy. International stunt choreographer Andy Long is overseeing the action design for the film. Together, the team reflects the international creative ambition of the project.
Why It Matters
Public celebrity relationships often unfold on social media in one of two ways — through carefully curated brand-style content, or through spontaneous, genuine moments that feel real. Vijay's Tuesday cheer for Rashmika clearly falls into the second category. It was warm. It was personal. It was rooted in real emotional support ahead of a genuinely important professional moment.
For couples in the entertainment industry — where careers, schedules and public visibility often make personal support systems difficult to sustain — moments like these matter. They show what a healthy creative partnership can look like, one where each half genuinely celebrates the achievements of the other.
For fans who have followed Vijay and Rashmika through years of on-screen collaborations, off-screen speculation and finally their beautifully executed wedding earlier this year, these small public gestures are exactly the kind of joyful continuity they have long hoped for.
Cultural Impact
Vijay and Rashmika represent one of the most followed young celebrity couples in South Indian cinema — with a combined fan base that spans multiple languages, geographies and generations. When they publicly celebrate each other's work, that celebration often reaches audiences well beyond the immediate scope of a single film or post.
For young couples in the entertainment industry — and beyond — their approach to supporting each other publicly, celebrating milestones together, and continuing to build individual careers alongside a shared personal journey offers a warm, modern template of what a marriage between two professionals can look like.
The Bigger Picture
Vijay Deverakonda's Tuesday post for Rashmika Mandanna is more than a promotional cheer. It is a warm, real expression of the pride and love that fans have long sensed between the two of them, now made visible in the everyday, casual way that only a genuinely supportive partnership can produce.
As 'Mysaa' now heads toward its November 27 worldwide theatrical release, the anticipation is only going to build. Rashmika's physically demanding performance. The recovery journey she has navigated. The emotional support of her husband cheering her on publicly. All of it is coming together in a way that makes this release feel deeply personal — for the star, for her family, and for the millions of fans who have been following her career with love.
And with 'Ranabaali' still ahead — bringing Vijay and Rashmika together on screen once more, this time as a married couple — fans of both stars have plenty of reasons to be excited about the coming months of Indian cinema.
For now, though, all eyes are on November 27. On that day, Rashmika Mandanna will step into the world of 'Mysaa' before audiences across the globe. And when she does, she will do so knowing that among the many people cheering her on, one voice — the one closest to her heart — has already made his message unmistakably clear. You will make your dearest fans proud again. And with Vijay's words setting the tone, the world of 'Mysaa' is now just weeks away from finally opening its doors.
