Eric Dane passed away on February 19, 2026, at the age of 53. He had been bravely battling ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). His diagnosis was made in April 2025. His family told People magazine, "It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Eric Dane passed away Thursday afternoon after battling ALS."
