Actor Fahadh appeared in the character of Inspector Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat in the film. Now, South actor and director turned producer Nara Rohit revealed something about the character of the Inspector and revealed that the following person was to be cast in place of him. Telugu film actor and producer Nara Rohit attended an interview with M9 News. During this, he was asked whether it was true that he had to cast Fahadh Faasil in 'Pushpa'. In response to this, he said, 'I posted some pictures with a moustache during the COVID-19 pandemic. After this, filmmaker Ravishankar first talked to me, as did Sukumar Garu. Then times changed, and they wanted to cast Fahadh. But initially, they talked to me.'

Further in the conversation, the actor said, 'I don't know if I would have been able to play this character like Fahadh. Perhaps, if I was on that set, I could have played it. But after seeing Fahadh, I thought, okay. It was really great.'

Nara Rohit is one of the well-known actors in the South film industry. He took a break from acting after the film Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu in 2018. The film was a super flop at the box office. In 2024, the actor made a comeback with Pratinidhi 2, directed by Murthy Devguptapu. Apart from Nara Rohit, Sachin Khedekar, Jishu Sengupta, and Raghu Babu also played important roles in this film.
