Bhumi Pednekar is in the limelight these days because of her new show 'The Royals'. She is promoting her show these days. Bhumi in the show is portraying the role of a self-confident and liberal girl. This is quite new from all her previous roles. She now spoke about her role in the series and how it was to work with co-star Ishaan Khattar. About the show, the actress has stated that it was the first time that her on-screen look was actually taken care of and paid heed to.

In her recent conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Bhumi Pednekar talked about the series 'The Royals'. During this, the actress said, "This experience was different for me. Because this was the first time I got a chance to really experiment with my on-screen look. For the first time some people really cared about how I looked on screen, which was a new and fresh experience for me. I had never experienced cut, cut, hair is not right, this angle, that angle. I was really surprised to see this in 'The Royals' and was very happy."

During this, Bhumi also talked about her character Sophia. She said, "Playing the role of Sophia reflects my own personality. I have never felt so confident playing a character, which in turn opens up to the audience. I loved playing the character of Sophia."

Directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, 'The Royals' will stream on Netflix on May 9. Many actors including Ishaan Khattar and Zeenat Aman will be seen in this show along with Bhumi. It is being told to be a romantic-comedy drama series.
