Gaurav Dewasi’s Gora Badal Film to Showcase Rajput Valor
Gaurav Dewasi’s Gora Badal film highlights Rajput bravery, shot in Chittorgarh, inspired by Bollywood’s Padmavat.

Jaipur, Rajasthan: Rising Rajasthani actor Gaurav Dewasi is set to bring the valor and heroism of the Rajput community to the silver screen with his upcoming film Gora Badal. Drawing inspiration from Bollywood’s acclaimed Padmavat, this historical drama, filmed at the iconic Bassi Fort in Chittorgarh, promises to elevate Rajasthani cinema while celebrating the region’s rich cultural heritage.
The Story of Gora Badal: Courage and Sacrifice
The narrative of Gora Badal revolves around the legendary Rajput warriors Gora and Badal, who lay down their lives to protect Chittor’s King Rawal Ratan Singh and Queen Padmini. The film depicts Alauddin Khilji (played by Paresh Bhatt) luring Rawal Ratan Singh under the pretense of friendship, only to treacherously imprison him. Khilji then demands Queen Padmini’s presence in exchange for the king’s release. In a strategic countermove, Queen Padmini devises a plan with Gora and Badal. Disguised as the queen, Gora (Gaurav Dewasi) hides in a palanquin, leading a daring rescue mission. The Rajput warriors overpower Khilji’s forces, ensuring Rawal Ratan Singh’s safe return to the fort. In the ensuing battle, Gora and Badal fight valiantly, ultimately attaining martyrdom, their legacy etched in Rajput history.
Gaurav Dewasi shared insights into the film’s gripping storyline, stating, “In a dramatic scene, when Khilji ventures into the jungle for a hunt, my character, Aldeen, strikes him with an arrow during a gathering, leaving him gravely wounded. This moment captures the cunning and bravery of the Rajputs.” Despite playing a negative role, Dewasi’s portrayal of Aldeen is poised to captivate audiences with its intensity and depth.
Gaurav Dewasi: A Rising Star from Rajasthan
Hailing from Kothar village in Rajasthan’s Pali district, Gaurav Dewasi has carved a niche in Rajasthani cinema through sheer determination and talent. His role as Aldeen in Gora Badal showcases a unique blend of villainy and valor, setting him apart in the industry.
