Dharmendra Prayer Meet in Delhi: Bollywood's dream girl, Hema Malini, is organizing a prayer meet for the late actor Dharmendra in Delhi. Political figures are expected to attend the meeting.
On November 24th, veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra passed away. The demise of Bollywood's "He-Man" Dharmendra created a vacuum in the hearts of his family members and millions of his fans. A series of condolence meetings continued in Mumbai after his death at the age of 89. Now, another mega prayer meet is being organized by his wife, Hema Malini, in Delhi, which is expected to be attended by his family and several political figures.
A special prayer meet for the peace of Dharmendra's soul will be held by Hema Malini at the Dr. Ambedkar International Centre in Delhi on December 11, 2025. His daughters Esha Deol and Ahana Deol, along with former son-in-law Bharat Takhtani and Vaibhav Vohra, will also be present at the event, which will run from 4 pm to 6 pm. Several senior politicians living in Delhi are also reported to be attending the gathering to pay tribute to the actor. Earlier, Hema Malini organized a Gita recitation at her Mumbai residence, attended by family members and close friends of Dharmendra.
Dharmendra was scheduled to celebrate his 90th birthday on December 8th. His sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, celebrated the late actor's birth anniversary with fans at his home and shared memories. Their emotional meeting went viral on social media.
Meanwhile, Salman Khan also became emotional while remembering Dharmendra during the Bigg Boss 19 finale. He said that Dharmendra loved him like a son. Salman was heartbroken by the passing of the legendary actor and broke down in tears on the finale stage. He also mentioned that Dharmendra and his mother's birthdays fall on the same day, while he passed away on his father Salim Khan's birthday.
Another emotional moment is coming soon for Dharmendra's fans. His final film, "Ekkis," is set to release in theaters on December 25, 2025. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film stars him alongside actors like Agastya Nanda and Jaideep Ahlawat. This release will be a cinematic tribute to the late actor.
