Mumaith Khan, who was a part of the song "Dekh Le" in the movie "Munnabhai MBBS," has revealed the reasons behind her departure from the film industry. As per her statements, she was away from Bollywood because of her health conditions at a time when she was at the peak of her career. Once a well-known actress in Bollywood and South India, Mumaith said that leaving films wasn't her decision. Her serious illness changed everything in her life.
Mumaith has acted in films like "Halchal," "Lucky," and "Rowdy Rathore." Mumaith has had to work from an early age due to her impoverished background. Speaking about her sudden vanishing from films, Mumaith has stated to iDream Media, "I didn’t leave the industry." I had an accident. Five nerves in my brain were ruptured. The doctor told me not to work for at least seven years. I was forbidden to even lift anything.
After the accident, Mumaith remained in a coma for 15 days. She underwent surgery and then underwent extensive treatment. She said, "God made me Mumaith Khan, and He put an end to my life. I accepted it. I studied for those seven years." Mumaith further explained that she had plenty of time to think about what she loved. Then she realized she loved makeup and hair. Subsequently, she launched her own makeup and hair training institute in Hyderabad. Her academy offers professional courses and provides education loans.
At 40, Mumaith is single by choice. She has no regrets about her life decisions. She says, "Everyone judges everyone. I don't need to explain anything to anyone. I love my work."
