Jackie Shroff appeared in the role of a villain in Baby John. Baby John was reportedly made on a budget of more than Rs 180 crore. The film failed to collect even Rs 50 crore.
When Jackie Shroff was asked if the poor performance of the film affected him, he said, 'Producers are the most affected. They invest a lot of money in these projects and invest with a lot of confidence. When they are not able to recover this cost, it hurts a lot. As an artist, of course, you want your performance to be liked, but you also want this film to do well'.
On the failure of the film, Jackie Shroff said, 'It hurts but not for myself, it hurts more for the producers'. You do your work seriously, but you also have to think about the person who has invested money in it. The film 'Baby John' was directed by Kalees.
