On Tuesday, actor Kamal Haasan announced by sharing a post on all his social media accounts that this time he will not be a part of Bigg Boss Season 8. The actor has said that he will take a break from his commitment as a host with Vijay TV for some time. The actor said in his statement, 'Dear viewers, with a heavy heart, I would like to inform you that I am taking a short break from my journey that started 7 years ago. Due to prior cinematic commitments, I am unable to host the upcoming season of Bigg Boss Tamil.
I am fortunate to reach your homes. You have given me your love and affection, for which I will always be grateful to you. I thank all of you and the participants of the show from the bottom of my heart for the time spent with us.'
Talking about the actor's work front, he was last seen in the film Indian 2 with Rakul Preet Singh and Deepika, Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan's movie Kalki 2898 AD. Now soon he will be seen in the Tamil film Thug Life with producer Mani Ratnam.
