Tiger Shroff Firing Probe: Why Police Say Salman Khan’s Tight Security Changed the Gang’s Target
Police sources say the Bishnoi gang first eyed Salman Khan but picked Tiger Shroff after finding the former too heavily guarded. Arrests, security and what we know.

The investigation into the firing on actor Tiger Shroff’s car last Sunday has taken a significant turn. Citing Mumbai Police sources, a Hindustan Times report says the two shooters who targeted Shroff at Juhu had earlier carried out reconnaissance at Salman Khan’s home in Bandra West. According to police sources, Salman was the original target. Shroff, who reportedly had no security at the time, was chosen as the “easy” alternative. thedailyjagran
What Police Sources Say About the Plan
After the recce, the shooters reportedly informed Anil Pandit, a close aide of Lawrence Bishnoi, that attacking Salman was impossible, and that Tiger could be picked instead. A note on names: some reports carry the handler’s name as “Amit Pandit,” but the report citing police sources names him as Anil Pandit. thedailyjagran
Police say the gang monitored fan-posted social media content to learn about Shroff’s movements, and that one accused waited with a bike to help the shooters escape. Authorities are examining the accused’s phones to check for photographs or videos allegedly sent to handlers. The accused’s real motive is still under investigation.
