‘Live for Yourself’: Vishal Dadlani Supports Arijit Singh’s Decision to Quit Singing
Vishal Dadlani: Vishal Dadlani has expressed his opinion on Arijit Singh's decision to quit playback singing. He also offered some advice to the audience.
Recently, singer Arijit Singh has announced that he is leaving playback singing. Many artists have reacted to the news. Now, the latest to join the bandwagon is singer Vishal Dadlani. Let’s see what he has to say about the news of Arijit Singh leaving playback singing.
On Arijit Singh's decision to quit singing, Dadlani told TOI, "Every person has the right to make their own decisions without question. If you have to ask, ask him. We don't need to have any opinion on his life decisions. It's something that can be waited for. When he reaches his next stage, we can enjoy it."
Vishal Dadlani further said, "Ultimately, you have to live for yourself. As for Arijit, live for yourself, my brother. I'm very happy for him. I intend to do the same. You should love your work, be happy, and make your own decisions."
Regarding burnout, Dadlani said, "I don't think there's such a thing as burnout. We live in an ocean called music. Sometimes you want to go here, sometimes there. As long as you're enjoying what you're doing, it doesn't matter. Focus on something else too. Fly a plane, run, trek, go swimming."
Arijit Singh suddenly announced his retirement from playback singing last month. He wrote on social media, "Hello, Happy New Year to all of you. Thank you for giving me so much love as listeners over the years. I am happy to announce that I will not be taking any new assignments as a playback vocalist from now on." "I'm saying goodbye to it. It's been a wonderful journey."
