Many fans in Bollywood go crazy for their favorite stars. These people try to copy them and sometimes do such an act to impress them that the other person becomes uncomfortable.

On the other hand, the level of madness of South Star fans is different. Here fans have given Rajinikanth the status of God. Whenever any of his films are released, his posters are seen being bathed with milk. Apart from this, bursting crackers at the time of film release are also a common thing. But the limit was crossed when Nandamuri Balakrishna's fans sacrificed a goat in a cinema hall.

In this case, Tirupati police had registered a case against five people. Actually, Telugu film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna's film "Daku Maharaj" was released at Pratap Theater in Tatanagar, Tirupati on January 12. Before the screening of the film, a goat was allegedly sacrificed in a movie theater here and its blood was applied on Nandamuri's poster.

PETA has filed its complaint through email. Tirupati East Sub-Divisional Police Officer Venkat Narayan told PTI that the matter was inquired into on January 16 and a case was registered at the police station. Shankaraiah, Ramesh, Suresh Reddy, Prasad, and Mukesh Babu have been arrested following a complaint by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). Meanwhile, the police are also in search of other people who are suspected to be a part of this animal sacrifice.

As it were, a video of this whole incident went viral in which a person could be seen standing in front and sacrificing while other people and the audience sitting in the cinema hall were seen cheering him. Police registered a case in this matter under Sections 325 and 270 along with the 3(5) Act of the Indian Justice Code, 2023.

Accordingly, an FIR was registered under Sections 4 and 5 read with 6 and 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Animal and Bird Sacrifice Prohibition Act, Sections 3, 11(1)(A), and 11(1)(L) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. All these cases were registered for brutally killing the animal and creating a disturbance.
