Nargis Fakhri's sister, Aliya arrested accused of burning ex-boyfriend alive in New York

Ranbir Kapoor's heroine in the film 'Rockstar', Nargis Fakhri's sister has been accused of murdering her ex-boyfriend. The actress' sister Aliya has been arrested on charges of murdering her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend due to jealousy. 43-year-old Aliya allegedly set fire, which killed her ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend.

According to a report in Daily News, Nargis' sister Aliya set fire to a two-story garage in Queens, New York. Edward Jacobs and Anastasia "Star" Etienne died, burning alive. She was then arrested and not given bail as she appeared in the criminal court.

District Attorney Melinda Katz said, "The defendant maliciously killed two people when he set a fire that left a man and a woman trapped in the flames. The victims tragically died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries.

Whereas, the mother of Actress Nargis denied the possibility of her daughter doing anything like this. She said, "I don't think she would kill anybody. She is a person who takes care of everybody. She tried to help everybody." Meanwhile, one of the witnesses who was hanging around the scene of the incident, said, "We smelt something burning. I don't know whether it was gas or something else. We went out and the sofa on the stairs was burning we had to jump on the sofa to get out. Star jumped with me but afterward, she went inside to try and save Jacobs. She had said to us that she would burn his home, she would kill him, we just laughed at her.
