Prahlad Kakkar Opens Up on Salman–Aishwarya Love Story, Says Split Was ‘Relief for Everyone'

During a conversation with Vicky Lalwani, the veteran producer-director of the advertising world, says that he used to live in the same building as Salman-Aishwarya. So he has seen everything with his own eyes. Prahlad says that Salman was very obsessed with Aishwarya. How do you deal with such a person?

Prahlad Kakkar further said, "Since I lived in the same building, I knew it well. Salman would always create a scene at home or on the balcony. He would bang his head against the wall. The relationship was over long before it was officially over. But their end was a relief for everyone: her parents, her, and the entire world."

Prahlad also recalled how the breakup had a profound impact on Aishwarya's emotional health and professional life. He explained that she wasn't upset by the breakup. She was upset that everyone was taking Salman's side, not hers. The truth was on her side. She no longer trusted the industry because it wasn't fair. I could understand that she was wrong and the other side was right, or that both sides were being treated equally. But nothing, it was completely one-sided."

Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai were once Bollywood's most talked-about couple. The pair appeared together in the 1999 film "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam," which was well-received by audiences.
