Rajesh Khanna, a veteran actor of the film world, was always famous for his excellent acting. Not only this, another name of Anita Advani used to go about the actor's life quite often. Now the actress has spoken about her personal relationship with Rajesh Khanna that both of them married.
Actress Anita Advani recently spoke about her relationship with late actor Rajesh Khanna in a conversation with Meri Saheli. She said, 'We got married privately, but no one in the film industry talks about it openly. Everyone says 'we are friends' or 'we are in a relationship'. The media had already reported that I was with him, so neither of us felt the need to publicly announce the marriage.'
Further in the conversation, actress Anita Advani said, 'We had a small temple in our house. I had got a mangalsutra made, which was of gold and that too with black beads. He made me wear it, then applied sindoor and said, 'From today you are my responsibility.'
Anita Advani said that she had come into the actor's life before Rajesh Khanna's wife Dimple Kapadia. She told, 'Yes, I came into his life before Dimple Kapadia. But I did not marry her because I was very young at that time. Eventually, I went back to Jaipur.' Along with this, she told that when she went to see Rajesh Khanna for the last time after his death, she was not allowed to go and was stopped by the bouncers.
Rajesh Khanna died in Mumbai on 18 July 2012 due to prolonged illness. The actor said goodbye to this world at the age of 69.
