Director Anurag Kashyap recently announced that he will leave Mumbai and settle in the South. He blamed the thinking about films in Bollywood for this. He believes that the enthusiasm to make good films in Bollywood is over now. Anurag Kashyap said all these things in a recent interview. He also told that his five films are yearning for release in Bollywood. He is very upset especially due to the non-release of 'Kennedy'.

At Cannes in 2023, there was a screening of Kennedy, a film by Anurag Kashyap, which was highly appreciated. But since then, this film has not been released. Anurag is upset about this. He says in a recent interview, 'I have made five films which have not been released yet. Kennedy film is with people who have not made a film till date. Studio people say that you should increase your share, earn money and bring profit'.

Anurag further says that he does not have the strength to fight anymore. These are the reasons why he is upset with Bollywood people. Also, Anurag does not see the enthusiasm to make good films in Bollywood anymore. Recently, Anurag Kashyap spoke about the behavior of the actors in Bollywood. In an interview, he has said that every actor in Hindi films wants to get star treatment. When this happens, it gets tough to make a film. That is not the case with the South Industry. Not even big actors, just like every other actor working in that film, act like any ordinary working person in it.
