Legendary singer Asha Bhosle will be cremated with full state honors at Shivaji Park in Mumbai on Monday afternoon. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis visited her home on Sunday evening to pay his respects and offer flowers. State Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar, as well as MLAs Sunil Shinde and Prasad Lad, also paid their respects. Several Bollywood celebrities also expressed grief over her demise.
Meanwhile, Ashish Shelar said, "Asha Bhosle will be accorded state honors and her funeral will be held on April 13th at 4 p.m." The singer's son, Anand, said that people can pay their last respects at 11 a.m. on Monday at Casa Grande in Lower Parel, where she lived. He added, "Her funeral will be held at Shivaji Park on Monday at 4 p.m."
