Kamal Haasan Calls Jana Nayagan Leak ‘System Failure’, Urges Action Against Piracy

The latest film by Vijay Thalapathy titled "Jana Nayagan" is yet to be released in theatres due to some censorship issues. However, ahead of its release, the film has been leaked in high definition (HD). This has angered Kamal Haasan who expressed his grievances on social media.

The makers of "Jana Nayagan" have expressed their displeasure after the film was leaked online before its release. Following the leak, many celebrities in the industry have come out in support of the makers and expressed their disappointment over the leak. Superstar Rajinikanth and Megastar Chiranjeevi also expressed their disappointment over the leak and supported the film and its makers. Kamal Haasan also expressed his displeasure, saying that the delay in certification contributed to the leak.

Kamal Haasan shared a post from his ex-account. He wrote, "The leak of 'Jana Nayakan' is not an accident. It is the result of a systemic failure. Had the proper process been completed on time, we would not be in this situation today. The inordinate delay in certification has paved the way for piracy. When legal access is blocked, illegal means take over. Piracy transcends politics; it is an attack on art and artists. It jeopardizes the hard work of hundreds of artists and technicians, and the investments of honest, tax-paying producers, exhibitors, and theater owners. Together, they keep the cinema we love alive."

Kamal Haasan further wrote, "When the system fails, who protects the creator? We need accountability, swift certification, strict laws, and real-time content removal. I am confident that true cinema lovers will unite and give a befitting reply by watching the film legally in theaters, just as you have stood with me before."
