Sameera Reddy Goes Down Memory Lane with First Song Throwback
Sameera Reddy's First Song: Sameera Reddy shared an old photo of herself and director Farah Khan. This photo is from the shooting of Sameera's first song.
Actress Sameera Reddy recently uploaded an old picture on social media. It is from the shoot of the first movie’s song. The picture is from the shoot of the song “Thoda Sa Pyar Hua Hai” from the movie “Maine Dil Tujhko Diya,” which was released in 2002. The song is sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, with Sameera Reddy and Sohail Khan.
Sameera shared a photo on her Instagram story, in which she is seen posing with choreographer Farah Khan. Along with this old photo, Sameera wrote, "My first film song in Egypt. Farah, we both look like kids." Farah Khan also shared this story, writing, "You were a child then, Sameera."
The film "Maine Dil Tujhko Diya" was directed, written, and produced by Sohail Khan. It also starred Sanjay Dutt, Kabir Bedi, Sameera Reddy, and Dalip Tahil. Farah Khan choreographed this song for Sameera.
Farah Khan directed the 2004 superhit film "Main Hoon Na." She had initially chosen Sameera Reddy to play Sushmita Sen in the film. Due to scheduling issues and Sameera's other project commitments, she couldn't get the role, a fact Sameera regrets to this day.
