Brought up in Canada, Jonita came to Bollywood to make a career in the world of singing. So far, she sang many popular songs such as 'Paani Da Rang', 'Tujhko Jo Paya', 'Tum Hi Ho'. But the initial experience with Bollywood was not good for Jonita. Recently, the singer Jonita opened about the initial phase of her life and the poor experiences that occurred in those days.

In a recent conversation with Housefly, Jonita says, 'When I came to India, in the first few weeks, an attempt was made to give me a message. Due to me being a foreigner, it was understood that I am an easy going girl. I am not going to reveal the name of the musician, but he called me and said- 'Would you like to meet?' I said, 'Yes, I am with my mother right now, tell me where to come.' He said, 'Oops.' Actually, he wanted me to come alone.'

Jonita has also told about the bad experiences she had on social media. She says, 'Some things are very bad on social media. I am tagged in obscene photos on Instagram. I ignore these things a lot. But these things make me feel very bad.'

Jonita Gandhi has sung songs in the films 'Chhava' and 'Nadaniyaan' in the year 2025. Apart from Hindi, she has also sung songs in Punjabi and Tamil films. She has also worked with AR Rahman.
