SIT gets strong evidence in sexual harassment case of Malayalam actor Siddique
Siddique Case: The SIT team formed to investigate the ongoing sexual harassment case against 'Neeru' film fame Malayalam actor Siddique has gathered some strong evidence against him.

Actor Siddique had recently been arrested in 2024 on a charge of harassment of a sexual nature. A police complaint had been made against him for misconduct with a woman. A team of SIT had been constituted to investigate the charge against the actor, and today, it has been made known that the team has found some concrete evidence against the actor.
A complaint had been registered against Malayalam actor Siddique for molesting a young actress. An SIT team had been formed for this. This news report from Manorama Online has made it known that there has been very concrete evidence against actor Siddique. Also, the police mentioned that from what they know, the actor has been proven guilty. According to the report, it has also been made known that the actor threatened the actress and said, Nobody knows you in the industry. So, nobody will believe what you say. The SIT team mentioned they would present the report to the team immediately after receiving indications from the Crime Branch.
The report also revealed that on the day of the incident, the actress had sought help at a hospital in Kochi and told the doctor about the whole incident. That doctor has also given his statement.
This case was registered against Siddiqui as of August 2024. The actor was accused of sexual harassment by an actress in the year 2016. The victim alleged that Siddiqui called her to the Mascot Hotel in Thiruvananthapuram and sexually assaulted her. Initially, Siddiqui had denied the allegations leveled against him. After the controversy, he resigned from the post of General Secretary of the Malayalam Movie Artists Association (AMMA).
