Soha spoke about her mother, Sharmila Tagore, and how the family rallied behind her and tried to help her in every possible way. She expressed sympathy for cancer patients and their families, saying that it's a battle that requires immense physical and mental courage.
Furthermore, Soha's own mother, Sharmila Tagore, shocked her fans when she revealed that she had battled lung cancer during the pandemic. Recently, her daughter Soha Ali Khan recalled that period and spoke about her fears, saying that 'untimely death' was her biggest fear. Soha lost her father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, in 2011. He was 70 years old.
In a conversation with Nayandeep Rakshit on his YouTube channel, Soha was asked if she was more worried about her mother since she had already lost a parent. She said, "My biggest fear is premature death and the loss of loved ones because you can handle everything else, but these are the things that affect me the most and I think about them all the time. I am grateful that at least when it comes to things like cancer, or lung cancer, the most important thing is prevention and detection, and that happened very early."
