Now, Supriya Pathak has once again revealed about her marriage, saying that her mother, Dina Pathak, was initially against their relationship. Supriya even faced opposition from her mother.
In a recent interview with Hotterfly, Supriya Pathak spoke about their mother-daughter relationship. Meanwhile, the actress revealed that when her mother, Dina Pathak, was talking about her and her relationship, she said, "My mother didn't like Pankaj. My mother didn't like me either. My mother didn't think this relationship would last. Well, it's been 38 years now, but if she were alive today, she would still say, 'He will leave you and go away.' I really don't know why she said that."
Supriya further explained that her mother even resorted to lies to separate us. She said, "My mother tried everything to convince me that Pankaj wasn't the right person for me. She allegedly investigated him and found out, 'Hey, he drinks a lot.'"
