“We Deserve to Know What Happened”: Garima Garg Seeks Justice for Late Singer Zubeen Garg

Late Friday night, Zubeen Garg's wife, Garima, appealed for a speedy investigation into her husband's death at the funeral site in Kamarkuchi, on the outskirts of Guwahati. Many of Zubeen's fans were also present at the funeral site in large numbers at midnight.
According to PTI, at Zubeen Garg's funeral site, his wife Garima said, "I have one request. Zubeen gets justice, so keep using the hashtag all the time. We need to know what happened. It's been 22 days now, and we still don't know what happened."
Garima urged people to use social media to continue demanding "Justice for Zubeen Garg." She says, "Everyone should use social media to get justice for Zubeen. We have to make this demand, this request, every day. We are waiting patiently. We must get justice. We don't want any trouble; we want justice peacefully."
Singer Zubeen Garg died in a scuba diving accident in Singapore on September 19th. He was in Singapore for the Northeast India Festival. His fans were deeply saddened by his death. The Assam government subsequently promised a fair investigation into the singer's death. A special investigation team was also formed. Several people have been arrested in connection with the case. New revelations are being made every day regarding Zubeen Garg's death.
