'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' fame actor Rohit Purohit becomes father, shares good news on social media

After seven years of marriage, actor Rohit Purohit and Sheena Bajaj welcomed their first child on September 15. On Monday, Rohit and Sheena announced the birth of their child on their official Instagram account.

The couple posted a monochrome picture, which has a photo of Sheena holding her hand on the baby bump. In the middle of the picture is a small card which reads 'It's a boy' and the date 15.9.25 is also written. The post further reads 'Thank you for your love, support and blessings.'

Soon after Rohit Purohit shared the post, actor Anirudh Dave commented 'Congratulations, lots of love and blessings to the little one.' Many other celebs and fans also congratulated. Rohit is known for his character in the daily soap 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'. Sheena gained popularity after working in the sitcom 'Best of Luck Nikki'.

Rohit and Sheena got married on January 22, 2019 in Jaipur. On April 30, 2025, she announced her pregnancy through social media. She shared a post on Instagram, in which actor Rohit Purohit was also seen. She was holding a card which read, 'Mummy-Papa.' In the post, she wrote 'Your prayers are needed. Please give us your blessings.' Sheena further writes, 'I pray to God that this phase of pregnancy goes well. I am very happy to share this news with you.'

Sheena and Rohit Purohit met during the serial 'Arjun'. After this, both of them dated for a long time. In the year 2019, Sheena and Rohit got married. Now after six and a half years, they have become parents.
