In an interview with Variety India, Aamir said, "Junaid doesn't take my advice on any project. I think he has signed two films, one of which is with Ekta Kapoor and Balaji Telefilms." He makes all his own decisions, and that's a great thing.

Aamir revealed that he taught Junaid chess when he was just four years old. Junaid defeated him for the first time at the age of 18. Now, no matter how hard Aamir tries, he can't beat Junaid at chess. He always wins.
