Ahan Shetty Calls It an Honour to Be Part of ‘Border 2’, Shares Sunil Shetty’s Advice

Sunil Shetty's son, Ahan Shetty, thanked him for the opportunity to work in the upcoming movie ‘Border 2’. He also shared how he feels honored to associate with the family's legacy. Ahan revealed the advice given by his father before filming ‘Border 2’.

The teaser of the movie ' Border 2' was launched today in Mumbai. The stars of the movie, Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Ahan Shetty, along with other actors, were present at the event.

Speaking to the media on this occasion, Ahan Shetty revealed that his father advised him to stay true to his character in the film, rather than succumb to the pressure of acting. Ahan said, "I would like to say that I was very nervous on set for the first day or two. My hands were shaking because of being a part of such a big film. I had been in 'Tadap' four years ago. I had a long gap. Then, as my father said, just be honest. Be yourself. Enjoy yourself. Don't worry too much about what people say. Don't compare this film to 'Border 1'. That was the most important thing."

Ahan Shetty further added, "There's a certain kind of pressure. That pressure will always be there. But as they say, a father is a father. So, if I can be even 10 percent of my father in this film, I think I will be able to do justice to the character."

Border 2 is based on the backdrop of the 1971 Indo-Pak War. The teaser of the film was released on the occasion of Vijay Diwas. Scenes of the war and the bravery of Indian soldiers battling to defend their nation can be seen in this teaser. It is set to be released on January 23, 2026. It is directed by Anurag Singh.
