Anand L Rai will take legal action if the climax of 'Raanjhanaa' is changed by AI, this actor will support him
Raanjhanaa: The film 'Raanjhanaa' was recently re-released, but the production house changed the climax of its Tamil version through AI. The film's director, Anand L Rai, is angry with this. Now he is talking about taking legal action in this matter.

Recently, the producer of 'Raanjhanaa' altered the climax of this movie using AI without taking director Anand L Rai, actor Dhanush, and the rest of the cast on board. The movie was re-released in a modified climax version, too, in the Tamil version. Both Dhanush and Anand L Rai are upset with this. Now they are planning to take legal recourse together.
In his statement, Anand L Rai says, 'I am very worried about my remaining films. Dhanush is also worried. We are exploring and considering judicial methods to protect our creative content from such external interference.'
In the Tamil climax of the film 'Raanjhanaa', Kundan (Dhanush) opens his eyes on the hospital bed and stands up. His friends Bindiya (Swara Bhaskar) and Murari (Zeeshan Ayub) are happy. After this, the elder and younger Kundan are shown in the streets of Banaras, and the film ends. Whereas in 'Raanjhanaa' directed by Anand L Rai, Kunder dies in the end. Kundan's death is what makes the film different and special. Anand L Rai is angry with this tampering with the end of the film.
Dhanush tweeted on Twitter a few days ago, in which he wrote, 'The climax of the film Raanjhanaa was changed through AI and re-released. This change in the film has disturbed me. This change has taken away the soul of the film. Despite my objection, changes were made to the film. This is not the film I saw 12 years ago. Such use of AI is a matter of concern for art and artists. This is a threat to cinema.
