Angad Bedi had suffered his father's anger for 20 years, relations improved on the release of 'Pink'

Bollywood actor Angad Bedi made the best of his acting in 'Pink' and everyone loved him. Future: The actor was the antagonist in another Shoojit Sircar film. This film was not only a turning point for Angad but it also managed to mend his sour relationship with former Indian cricket captain Bishan Singh Bedi, who passed away recently. Angad told that he had cut his hair in teenage and because of this, Papa became angry for 20 years. But 'Pink' was significant in bridging this sour relationship between father and son.

During a conversation with Cyrus Broacha on a podcast, Angad Bedi remembered that his father was hurt and upset after he cut his hair for work. When the actor first started his career in Bollywood, he was told that his long hair would not work there. He further added that the decision to cut his hair was purely professional and it benefited him after the release of 'Pink'.

The actor recalled, "What would I have done? I thought if I have to go into it full force, I will do what has to be done. This upset my father for 20 years. However, his resentment vanished after the release of Pink." The actor revealed that he cut his hair at the age of 19 and 'Pink' released when he was 33.

He claimed that his father had not spoken to him during the period. But after the release of 'Pink', Angad's father embraced him and also warned him regarding film selection. He has also got blessings from his proud papa for choosing the right path for himself. Angad further said that many people have encouraged him to grow his hair again and he will do so.

Angad Bedi has appeared in films like 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'Dear Zindagi' and 'Gunjan Saxena'. On the professional front, the actor was quite satisfied with how his 2022 was going. He received praise for movies like 'Hi Pappa', 'Ghoomar' and 'Lust Stories 2'.
