Delhi High Court Orders Removal of 'Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy' Teaser Links Amid Salman Khan's Plea

The Delhi High Court has directed the removal of links on YouTube and Instagram for the movie "Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy" on Monday. The decision was passed at the hearing of a petition filed by actor Salman Khan. The producer of the movie Amit Jani has been scolded by the court.

During the hearing, the court sternly remarked, "Since no order was issued last time, your emboldened spirit has increased. It seems you consider yourself above the law. Your behavior is getting worse day by day."

Amit Jani's lawyer stated that it was just a teaser and did not even mention Salman Khan by name. He also stated that no AI or deepfake was used in it, and that no one has a right to any event or public information.

Salman Khan's lawyer stated that he has been acquitted in three of the four cases related to the blackbuck poaching case, while the sentence is stayed in one case. He also alleged that the film was attempting to incite a particular community against him.

The controversy began when Salman Khan filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking a ban on the film "Blackbuck: The Battle for Legacy." He claimed the film was inspired by his blackbuck poaching case and could harm his image.

He also demanded that the court remove all posters, teasers, and promotional materials related to the film.

In response to the legal notice sent on June 2, Amit Jani dismissed the allegations, stating that the film was based on information available in the public domain and depicted the story of the Bishnoi community's efforts to protect wildlife.

This court order appears to be further fueling the controversy surrounding the film. It remains to be seen what the future holds.
