The statement issued by Tabu's team said, "Stop the press... Many websites and social media handles have made some false statements in the name of Tabu. We would like to make it clear that she never gave these quotes. Misleading people is a serious violation of ethics."

Calling for immediate action, the statement said, "We demand that these websites immediately remove the fabricated quotes and apologize." The actress' team has clarified that such baseless and derogatory reports tarnish the reputation of an artist.
