Vicky Kaushal is currently busy working on a new film titled Love and War by director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. According to reports, Vicky is prepping up for his upcoming mythological movie, Mahavatar, set to go on floors in June 2026.
According to Pinkvilla, Vicky has reportedly set aside a total of 18 months for this project. Vicky has agreed to a rigorous six-month training program. This includes physical transformation and acting workshops designed specifically for the film.
Preparation is also reported to include understanding the psychological and emotional aspects of the character. Shooting for the film is scheduled to begin in January 2027 and will last for a full year and conclude in December 2027. During this time, Vicky has decided to focus solely on "Mahavatar" and abstain from any other professional work to maintain consistency with the character.
