Anne Hathaway Reveals Emotional Journey to Third Pregnancy: 'We Thought the Chances Were Very Low'
Anne Hathaway Pregnant: Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway is set to become a mother for the third time. She has spoken openly about this pregnancy and expressed her joy regarding the news.
Actress of Hollywood, Anne Hathaway revealed details regarding the emotional journey of becoming pregnant at age 43. According to Hathaway, she and her partner, Adam Shulman, had lost all hopes of having their third baby until they discovered that she was carrying another one. During the premiere event of the movie The Idea of You (aka The Odyssey) in New York, Hathaway clarified why she referred to the pregnancy as a "last-minute success."
Speaking to 'People' magazine, Hathaway said, "Hope remains until it runs out, but when you reach a certain age, that hope feels like just 1 or 2 percent." She added, "We just decided to see where life took us. We held onto a realistic hope, even though the odds were very low."
The Oscar-winning actress stated that she and her family are deeply grateful for this pregnancy. Hathaway said, "We are overjoyed because we know from personal experience that not everyone gets this chance-especially when you want it. Sometimes, that opportunity never comes."
According to 'People', she described the pregnancy as a blessing and noted that she and Shulman do not take the opportunity to welcome another child for granted.
Hathaway and her husband Adam Shulman, who married in 2012, are already parents to two sons: 10-year-old Jonathan and 6-year-old Jack.
The actress, known for 'The Devil Wears Prada', had announced her pregnancy in an Instagram video on June 19. In the clip, Hathaway was wearing a loose white dress and Barbara Lewis's song 'Baby I'm Yours' was playing in the background when she revealed her baby bump.
