Adivi Sesh Praises Mrunal Thakur as ‘Best Part’ of ‘Dakait: Ek Prem Katha’ Ahead of Release
Adivi Sesh Praises Mrunal Thakur: Awaiting the release of "Dakait," Mrunal Thakur has been praised by her co-star, Adivi Sesh. Find out what he had to say about her...
Actress Mrunal Thakur will soon be seen in the upcoming Telugu-Hindi film "Dakait: Ek Prem Katha." Adivi Sesh will star alongside her in the lead role. Now, Adivi Sesh has heaped praise on Mrunal, calling her one of the best things about the film. However, Mrunal's entry into the film comes after another actress dropped out.
During a Zoom conversation, Adivi Sesh praised Mrunal Thakur, saying, "Of all the people I've ever met, she's the most down-to-earth person I've ever met." Whenever we discussed a scene, she would literally sit on the floor. She's a stunning actress, and I thought everything she did was amazing. I've never seen the empathy and emotion in her eyes like this before. Just watching her on screen, I feel an instant connection with people.
Recalling the early days of shooting, Adivi Sesh said, "For the first few days, Mrunal would come to set in a different mood every day. We couldn't understand what was going on. One day she would be happy and playful, and the next day she would be serious. However, on the third day, I realized she was simply reacting to the scene. She was preparing before coming on set and was truly getting into the mood of the character she was playing."
Adivi Sesh will also be seen dancing for the first time in "Dakait." The actor says, "This film took me out of my comfort zone." Dacait has overcome my childhood fear of dance, and I'm so happy to see the response. It's only been a few weeks since the song was released, and it's still trending in the top 20. I think that's amazing. I thank Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh and Canadian sensation Jonita Gandhi for making this song such a success.
Directed by Shenil Dev, "Dacait" is set to release in theaters on April 10th. The movie's debut was initially set for March 19th, though that date was pushed back. Akshay Kumar's "Bhoot Bangla" was slated for an April 10th release, but it's now scheduled to hit theaters on April 16th at 9 pm. "Dacait" features Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, and also includes Anurag Kashyap in the cast.
