A stampede broke out due to a massive crowd gathering during a special screening of ‘Pushpa 2’ on December 4, 2024. The court has now delivered a significant ruling in this matter; the Nampally Court in Hyderabad has issued summons to the actor, ordering him to appear in person on June 22.
The incident dates back to December 4, 2024, when a huge crowd assembled outside Sandhya Theatre for the special screening of ‘Pushpa 2’. Thousands of fans had gathered outside the venue, hoping to catch a glimpse of their favorite star.
According to reports, a stampede suddenly erupted while Allu Arjun was waving to fans from the sunroof of his car. Tragically, a woman named Revathi lost her life in the incident, while her son, Sri Teja, sustained serious injuries.
The police have named Allu Arjun as Accused No. 11 (A11) in the case, while the theatre management has been listed as Accused No. 1 through 10. Summons have been issued to a total of 19 individuals, and a charge sheet has been filed against 23 people.
Following this tragic event, Allu Arjun and his family stepped forward to assist the victim's family. His father, film producer Allu Aravind, announced financial aid of ₹2 crore for Revathi's family. All eyes are now on the hearing scheduled for June 22, which will clarify the next steps in the case.
