From OTT Success to Salman Khan Film, Chitrangada Singh Reflects on Her Journey

Chitrangada Singh is currently in the news for both her upcoming film and her recent release. While her recent release, "Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murder," is receiving rave reviews, she is also in the news for her upcoming film, "Battle of Galwan," starring Salman Khan. The film's teaser was recently released. Meanwhile, Chitrangada shared her experiences in the industry and explained how influential people can pose challenges.
During a Zoom conversation, Chitrangada acknowledged that politics and power games exist in the industry. Influential people in the industry always create obstacles, especially when the stakes are high. She believes there's a lot to gain and a lot to lose in this industry. Whenever you're in a place where there's the potential for fame and great achievement, many people stand in your way. As the stakes increase, more people start to stand in your way. You either have to fight them, learn to face them, or take fate on your side and move forward.
Talking about her journey in the industry, the actress explained, "In my case, there was both luck and struggle. You have to trust both. One thing won't do. You have to struggle and rely on luck to make things work out."
On the work front, Chitrangada had four film releases in 2025. These include "Parikrama," "Housefull 5," "Khakee: The Bengal Chapter," and "Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders." However, except for "Housefull 5," all her other projects were released on OTT platforms. She was last seen alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte in the Netflix film "Raat Akeli Hai: The Bansal Murders." In it, she played Meera Bansal. The film has been well-received.
