In the new updates about the health of Indian Idol 12's winner, Pawandeep Rajan, his family members have put out a post today on social media, in which he has disclosed that the singer went through three more surgeries and is yet to be released from the ICU. Besides giving the health update, he also requested people to pray for the singer's well-being.
Pawandeep's team or one of his relatives posted his health update on his Instagram story today and mentioned, 'Hello everyone, yesterday Pawan underwent three more surgeries. He went to the OT this morning and after around eight hours of surgery, Pawandeep's fractures and wounds have been operated. However, he is kept under the ICU for a few days. The doctor said, now the process of Pawan's treatment and recovery has started after the operation, just pray for his speedy recovery. Once again thank you for all your blessings and prayers.'
Pawandeep was seriously injured in a horrific car accident on National Highway 9 near Gajraula in Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh on 5 May 2025. The accident took place around 3:40 am, when Pawandeep was going from Champawat in Uttarakhand to Delhi with his friend Ajay Mehra and driver Rahul Singh. They were heading towards Noida to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event. The cause of the accident was said to be the driver dozing off, due to which his MG Hector car collided from behind with a Canter truck parked on the highway. The collision was so severe that the car was completely damaged, and all three, including Pawandeep, suffered serious injuries. Pawandeep suffered fractures in both his arms and legs, head injuries, and shoulder injuries. His friend and the driver were also injured. Locals and police immediately helped and admitted the injured to a nearby hospital.
