Priyadarshan Confirms Mohanlal’s Cameo in ‘Haiwaan’; Shoot with Saif Ali Khan Begins

This Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan-starrer has been in the news for quite some time now. The shooting of this film is continuing, and from its set, several pictures of the stars have come out. Now Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has also joined Priyadarshan's film. There was already a rumor about Mohanlal's involvement in this film. Now the confirmation has come that Mohanlal is a part of this film and the shooting has also started. This news was given by the director Priyadarshan himself.

Director Priyadarshan shared a photo from the sets of "Haiwaan" on his Instagram. In this photo, he is seen with actors Saif Ali Khan and Mohanlal. A child artist is also seen with them in the photo. Priyadarshan also wrote a sweet note for Mohanlal while sharing this photo. In the caption, Priyadarshan wrote, "Look at life and the way it turns… Here I am, on the shooting sets of HAIWAN, working with the son of one of my biggest cricket heroes and my favourite film icon. Truly, God is kind."

Mohanlal will be seen in a cameo in 'Haiwaan.' Saif Ali Khan will play a blind man in the film, while Akshay Kumar plays the villain. Based on the photo of Mohanlal shared by Priyadarshan, it appears that he will also play a blind man in the film, as both he and Saif Ali Khan are seen wearing dark glasses and holding black sticks. However, no details about Mohanlal's character have been revealed yet.

Talking about Mohanlal's work front, three of his films have been released so far this year. These include 'L2 Empuraan,' 'Thudaram,' and 'Hridayapoorvam.' His next film, "Vrishabha," is also ready for release. "Vrishabha" is scheduled to hit theaters on December 25th. It is a pan-Indian action thriller. Mohanlal's look from the film has already been revealed. Additionally, the teaser for his next film, "Patriot," starring Mammootty and Fahadh Faasil, has also been released. He has now begun shooting for "Haivan."
